Womens In Sport : Fintess Camp

Women in Sports is a fitness camp designed for females aged 18 and up, aimed at building and sustaining healthy athletic performance. This camp will help participants prepare for, maintain, and reset their bodies for competition. Throughout the camp, athletes will focus on developing proper technique, joint stability, muscular strength and power, mobility and flexibility, as well as cardiovascular health through conditioning exercises.

This program is designed for individuals who struggle with body mobility. It features chair-based fitness routines that focus on improving movement in both the upper and lower extremities by targeting different areas one at a time. While seated and engaging your extremities, these movements help build stability and strength in the core and back. My name is Angelica Simmons, and I was born and raised in Rochester, NY. Growing up as the neighborhood kid, I embraced an active lifestyle full of sports and outdoor activities. Despite facing injuries like a chipped bone in my right knee, I never let it deter my spirit. I struggled with obesity from the age of 7 to 16, but everything transformed when I embarked on a fast and continued to pusing my passion for basketball; teaching the power of perseverance and the importance of making positive changes. After high school, I kept the sports spirit alive, decided to switch from collegiate sports to recreational activities and stayed active while exploring new ways to prevent obesity, overuse injuries and manage prediabetes. As an exercise specialist, I believe fitness science being vital with reducing the risk of future internal health issues and preventing overuse injuries. I'm here to inspire my clients on their journey. While it may be challenging, the key is to stay consistent and never give up. ABOUT UNYQPROCESSS UNYQPROCESS is a nonprofit organization focused on preventing and reducing health conditions such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, or hormonal imbalance. Our organization also focuses on improving body mobility by reducing imperfections of the joints through corrective exercises. Our commitment is to research the problem preventing individuals from obtaining optimal health. We believe many are lost due to the lack of knowledge of their body and the relationship between exercise and nutrition. With fitness being universal, we strive to build a learning and training facility that empowers all walks of life.

I was diagnosed with GURD, which is like acid reflux on 1000 (ugh). I would be sick constantly, not able to eat some days or I would even have to cancel plans because I did not know when a flare up would happen. I came across this program called Unyq process. It has been a wonderful program. They took the time to listen to what I had going on and made small, reachable changes to help me meet my goals. Not only did I learn nutritional facts but also what foods can help me feel full without consuming as much. I am definitely seeing results. I am finally down 30 official pounds! Yes, I said 30!
